One of the most popular 'Quest' games of our time is 'Halo'. Created by the video game franchise 'Bungie", it is now the best-selling mlitary science fiction of our generation. The story of Halo revolves around an engaging plot filled with plenty of quest elements.The series is based of the idea of an interstellar war that threatens humanity and the universe. The story features the hero: Chief, who is on a mission to defeat the theocractic alliance of aliens known as the 'Covenant'. He must first travel to foreign and dangerous lands to defeat the Composer, a super-weapon that threatens humanity's existence. Before the ordeal chief must first battle an army of aliens and succeed in several tasks before overcoming the Composer.

Developed by Nintendo and released in 2007, Super Mario Galaxy is a lovable video game that is both entertaining and fun as well as having strong quest narrative features.The story starts when Browser removes Princess Peach's castle from it's foundations and into outer space, Mario is then called to rescue her. Along the way Mario finds allies such as Rosalina and stars as well as having to overcome tasks such as defeating enemies and travelling to dangerous planets. After defeating small tasks and enemies he then has to travel to Bowser's castle to rescue Princess Peach, which is the Ordeal of the story.
